I feel like I'm sitting at the Lyceum reading this! Or maybe the Athenaeum! I like Raphael's famous painting, but it gives the impression P & A were at odds, which doesn't seem right. Reading this also makes me think of Braiding Sweetgrass, which my daughters gave me, and the beautiful concept, empirically verified, of taking what you need and no more. Finally, if my mother were alive today, I would be hearing the word "tacky" a lot whenever Orange Julius's face appeared. Write on, Mae!! ❤️
